Oceanco’s Leviathan is a 111-metre full-custom superyacht delivered in 2025, conceived as a highly capable, long-range vessel that prioritises comfort, efficiency and purposeful use over traditional show-led luxury.
Built in the Netherlands with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the yacht has a volume of just under 5,000 GT, giving her substantial interior space while retaining clean, understated exterior lines developed by Oceanco’s in-house design team.
The yacht is powered by an advanced diesel-electric propulsion system with ABB Azipods and a large onboard battery installation, allowing for exceptionally quiet operation, reduced vibration and improved fuel efficiency, particularly at cruising speeds. With a cruising speed of around 13 knots and a focus on displacement efficiency rather than outright performance, Leviathan is designed for long passages and extended time at sea, offering excellent seakeeping and onboard comfort.
Interiors by Mark Berryman Design reflect a restrained, functional aesthetic that emphasises durability, liveability and low maintenance. The layout accommodates more than 20 guests across 11 cabins, supported by a large professional crew, with many spaces designed through direct collaboration between the owner, designers and crew to improve daily operation and long-term usability.
What truly sets Leviathan apart is her purpose-driven design. In addition to luxury living spaces, the yacht incorporates facilities more commonly found on research or expedition vessels, including areas dedicated to diving, technical work, medical support and exploration. As part of the Inkfish fleet, Leviathan is intended not only as a private yacht but also as a platform for marine research and discovery, representing a modern, forward-thinking approach to what a large superyacht can be.
